About the Tech Color Challenge

Apple alone ships a dozen colorways across iPhone, MacBook, iMac, and AirPods every cycle — and Apple's marketing names ('Midnight', 'Starlight', 'Desert Titanium') deliberately obscure the actual HSB values. ColorFlex Tech uses photographic samples from the device backs and unibodies, so a 'Natural Titanium' guess gets graded against the real metallic gray, not a marketing swatch. Beyond Apple, the category includes Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, gaming keyboards, NZXT and Lian Li PC cases, mechanical keyboard keycap sets, and headphone colorways from Bose, Sony, and AirPods Max. If you can spot a Pixel from a Galaxy by case color alone, this category is for you.
